| COSTA RICA
January of 2005 We packed up our bags and headed for the airport to Costa Rica, a trip which had been in the works for a year, but got postponed due to our India trip. We spent two weeks crisscrossing the country from the lowland jungles of the east coast to the dryer beaches on the west coast and the mountains between. What made the trip unique was not only the excellent naturalist tour guide, but the incredible vistas, sumptuous food, unique resorts, and characters we traveled with.
