In
the 70's we had taken a 3 month Volkswagen bus trip around the US and Mexico.
Then we became responsible, and worked for the next 30 years, but we always
looked back at our adventure. Now that we've retired and are irresponsible
again, we decided another trip was in order, though in considerable more
comfort. After some planning and buying a completely self contained camper for
our pickup, we headed up to British Columbia and worked our way west across to
Banff. Then east through the planes, and back down into the US via Niagara
Falls, which was wonderful on the Canadian side. From there we drove through the
scenic rural parts of several states before an enjoyable respite to see
relatives and friends in Frederick and Richmond. Then it was directly west,
stopping at any place of interest. Below are only a few of the about 600
pictures we took.
